All trails are groomed and tracked. Boomer Blue has had lots of activity (skiers, walkers, and dogs-- all allowed). The tracks on Loops 1, 2, and 3 are in good shape, but snowshoers were on 1 and 2.

DNR groomer had set tracks on Boomer Blue yesterday since the fresh snow and they had set up nicely. I turned off onto the tracks on Loop 2 to enjoy the rolling hills and twisty turns, but was disappointed to find long sections without tracks. At first I thought it might be an area where the snow was too thin, but as I continued on, I found more long stretches usually down and up a hill without tracks. Those trails are so much fun in the tracks both down and uphill except for a few steep hills where herringbone is needed. I contacted the DNR requesting that the groomer leave the tracksetter down throughout the system. Hoping that conditions improve.
